Non Surgical Regenerative Therapy for Knee Joint

  • Medial compartment (the inside part of the knee)
  • Lateral compartment (the outside part)
  • Patellofemoral compartment (the front of the knee between the kneecap and thighbone)

PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) INJECTIONS

PRP is a rich concentrate of platelets, which contain growth factors that assists in enhancing wound healing.

PRP is set up by illustration 10-15ml of patient's blood and centrifuged to get rich concentrate of platelets and this infused into the territory of damage under aseptic conditions.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses injections of a concentration of a patient's own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, Cartilage, muscles and joints. PRP injections use each individual patient's own healing system to improve musculoskeletal problems.

These activated platelets are then injected directly into your injured or diseased body tissue. This releases growth factors that stimulate and increase the number of reparative cells your body produces.

BONE MARROW ASPIRATE CONCENTRATE(BMAC) THERAPY

Bone Marrow Concentrate (BMAC) Therapy, is a promising cutting-edge regenerative therapy to help accelerate healing in moderate to severe osteoarthritis and tendon injuries.

Bone marrow is the soft spongy tissue that is found in the center of your bones. In adults, marrow in the large bones are the producing center of your red bloods cells, white blood cells and plasma components. Since this is the location of production, immature forms of these cells, called stem cells, will be found here.

BMAC therapy is a promising non-surgical regenerative treatment used to treat various orthopedic injuries, including moderate to severe osteoarthritis and tendon injures. BMC is a concentrate of regenerative stem cells obtained from a patient's own bone marrow. The physician removes a small amount of the patient's bone marrow and spins it in a centrifuge in order to generate a powerful concentrate that is injected into the injured area. In the past, these types of cells were often very difficult and expensive to obtain from the body. With recent medical advancements, the cells can be easily obtained and the procedure can be done with minimal discomfort by a simple office procedure.
